The weekly digest

Keeping up with SCORM tooling is nobody's job. This is the version of it that takes two minutes on a Sunday.

The same three things, every week

A fixed shape is a promise about how long the email will take to read. It does not vary, and there is no week where it is mostly about us.

  1. 01New tools. What was added, what it does, and which standards it supports.
  2. 02Updated listings. Facts that changed — a price, a licence, a repository that stopped moving.
  3. 03One comparison. Two tools that solve the same problem, and the case where each is the wrong choice.

The weekly digest

One email a week, with the same three things every time: tools added, listings whose facts changed, and one comparison written out properly.

Unsubscribe from any email. We never sell or share the list.

What subscribing involves

You confirm the address first
Nothing is sent until you open the link we email you. Somebody else typing your address into this form achieves nothing.
What we keep
Your address, where you signed up from, the date, the wording of the consent you gave, and a one-way hash of your IP address — never the address itself. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days.
Leaving
Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe, in the email and in your mail client's own unsubscribe control. It takes effect immediately, with nothing to confirm and no reason to give. The address is then kept only so that no later import can mail you again.
Advertising
If an issue ever carries a sponsored item it is labelled as one, in the same place every week. The rest of the digest is chosen on merit and never sold.
