The reference JavaScript client for the Experience API, published by ADL — the same organisation that produced the specification. It handles the parts that are tedious to write again: building the endpoint URL, basic and session authentication, sending and querying statements, the state, activity profile and agent profile documents, and paging through `more` links. It ships with ADL Verbs and a statement helper in the same `ADL` object, and there is a self-contained minified build for dropping into a course.

It is the natural starting point for browser-side xAPI, and for anyone learning the specification it doubles as documentation you can step through. That, today, is its strongest use.

What it is not good for is a new production integration. The `master` branch has not had a substantive commit since July 2020, the last release is v1.11.0 from January 2020, and the version header is fixed at xAPI 1.0.1. The dependency story shows its age too — a bundled CryptoJS build, and a `TextEncoder` shim for old Edge. Around twenty issues sit open.

The provenance is the reason it is still the most-linked xAPI wrapper, and the reason it is worth listing honestly: it works against 1.0.x LRSs and it will not be fixed. For active work, prefer a maintained client and keep this one as the readable reference.
